Depending on the situation, I may process personal information because:
- it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a coaching agreement or to provide services under an agreement with you
- I have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, managing my coaching practice and maintaining appropriate business records, where those interests do not override your rights and interests

Coaching notes and sensitive information
Coaching is not medical treatment, psychotherapy or a diagnostic service.
I may keep brief working notes about coaching goals, agreed actions and follow-up points where useful for providing the service.
I do not intentionally seek to create detailed medical records. If you choose to share sensitive personal information during our work, I will aim to handle it carefully and only use or retain it where there is an appropriate reason and lawful basis to do so.
Booking and third-party services
I use third-party services where necessary to run the coaching practice.
For example, Calendly may be used to arrange appointments and Google Meet may be used for online conversations or coaching sessions.
These providers may process personal information according to their own privacy practices and terms.
Where other service providers are used to support email, file storage, payments or business administration, I aim to use established providers and limit the information shared to what is reasonably necessary.
How long I keep information
I do not keep personal information for longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
The appropriate retention period may depend on the type of information, the coaching relationship, administrative needs and any legal, tax or accounting obligations that apply.
When information is no longer needed, I aim to delete it securely or anonymise it where appropriate.
Sharing your information
I do not sell or rent your personal information.
I may share limited information with service providers where this is necessary to operate the coaching practice, such as booking, email, video meeting, payment or secure storage providers.
I may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
International services
Some technology providers I use may process or store information outside the country where you live.
Where this happens, the provider is responsible for applying the safeguards required by applicable data protection law, and I aim to use reputable services with appropriate privacy and security measures.
Testimonials
I will not treat information provided as part of a coaching relationship as permission to use it publicly as a testimonial.
Where I wish to publish a client’s testimonial, name or identifying information, I will seek separate permission for that use.
